Drawing on the shifting energy of natural phenomena, especially clouds and icebergs, my work explores how visible form and hidden forces shape our experiences. Clouds offer a sense of movement, lightness, and emotional unpredictability, while icebergs embody the weight of what lies beneath the surface. Together, they frame an ongoing interest in presence, interiority, and transformation.

Using insulation foam as my sculptural medium allows for intuitive carving and expansive forms without heaviness. Its flexibility supports the expressive, gestural qualities I seek, creating structures that feel both immediate and atmospheric.

Icebergs, in particular, mirror the complexity of human identity. Their small visible portion contrasts with the vast mass below, echoing the tension between what people reveal and what remains private. Through these forms, I aim to prompt viewers to consider the unseen: the memories, pressures, and quiet strengths that shape the visible parts of ourselves and the world.
